After one of his worst performances of the year, Kevin Harvick still finished the Federated Auto Parts 400 and the Sprint Cup’s regular season as the points leader.

The defending series champion has been at the top of the standings since March, but that will change going into Chicagoland Speedway and the start of the Chase for the Sprint Cup, when the standings are reset according to win totals.

The 16-car field for the Chase didn’t see any changes from the beginning of the night.
