Merci! Tony Stewart prepares for retirement by learning to speak French in spoof video

Up to now, the only thing French that Tony Stewart knew was French Fries or maybe French Toast.

But in a new series of spoof commercials from Mobil 1, Stewart tries out a few new activities to potentially pursue “the next chapter” of his life as he heads into retirement as a Sprint Cup driver at the end of this season.

Like learn French -- as a language -- and not as something he eats.

Check out the video below and watch as Tony (butchers) … err, shall we say, tries to learn a new language. He even wears a French beret. All we can say is, “sacre’ bleu!”
