NASCAR America: Should NASCAR increase post-race inspection violation penalties?

The NASCAR America crew examines how NASCAR should approach penalties for failed inspections following races in the Chase.

To keep the playing field as level as possible, NASCAR continues to expand its oversight of races when it comes to officiating.

Example: All the additional timing lines it has inserted along pit road the last seven races (and to be continued going forward) to further reduce speeding.

It would appear that perhaps the next area the sanctioning body is zeroing in on is increasing post-race inspection penalties for those cars that fail to pass muster.
