Sprint Cup driver standings after Sunday’s Good Sam 500 at Phoenix

The finish between Kevin Harvick and Carl Edwards is one of the closest finishes NASCAR has had in years and gave Harvick his eighth Phoenix win.

Kevin Harvick moved into the lead of the Sprint Cup points standings with his victory in Sunday’s Good Sam 500 at Phoenix International Raceway.

Harvick is tied at 154 points with Kyle Busch, who finished fourth Sunday, but owns the tiebreaker with his first win of the season.

Jimmie Johnson (11th at Phoenix) dropped a spot to third in the rankings, followed by Kurt Busch and Carl Edwards.
