Sprint Cup race at Phoenix red flagged for rain on Lap 219

The Quicken Loans 500 Race for Heroes at Phoenix International Raceway has been red flagged on Lap 219 due to rain. The race is scheduled for 312 laps.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. leads the race, followed by Chase for the Sprint Cup contenders Kevin Harvick, Joey Logano, Kyle Busch and non Chaser Jimmie Johnson.

Other Chase drivers: Jeff Gordon is sixth, Kurt Busch is seventh, Brad Keselowski is ninth, Carl Edwards is 12th and Martin Truex Jr. is 14th.

The race was rain delayed until it went green just after 9 pm ET.
