During the race weekend at Phoenix International Raceway, NASCAR issued written warnings to the teams of Landon Cassill, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Martin Truex Jr.

The warning to Stenhouse’s team, its first of the season, was for failing pre-race inspections three times, which results in 15 minutes of lost practice time this weekend at Auto Club Speedway.

Cassill and Truex’s teams each received their second warnings of the year. Cassill’s car failed pre-qualifying template inspection twice and the No. 78 failed pre-race laser inspection twice.

For every fourth warning a race team receives, regardless if at a points or non-points event, it will result in the loss of pit selection.
