Ty Dillon became eligible to win today’s $100,000 Dash 4 Cash bonus by winning the second of two heat races prior to the ToyotaCare 250 at Richmond International Raceway.

Like heat 1 winner Erik Jones, Dillon led all 35 laps in the prelude to the main event.

Justin Allgaier finished second to also qualify for the Dash 4 Cash bonus, followed by Daniel Suarez, Brad Keselowski and Austin Dillon.

Dillon raced with Gil Martin atop the pit box as interim crew chief. Dillon’s usual crew chief, Nick Harrison, missed the race serving a one-race suspension for a penalty in last week’s race at Bristol.
