WATCH: Kyle Busch makes a spectacular save in practice at Kentucky (video)

Kyle Busch was putting up some of the fastest lap times during practice at Kentucky before getting massively loose and sliding sidewise and then regaining control without hitting the wall.

SPARTA, Ky. -- Deftly steering his No. 18 Toyota through a skid in Turn 2 on the repaved Kentucky Speedway, the video above shows how Kyle Busch managed to avoid a wreck in Sprint Cup practice Friday afternoon.

Busch was the fastest in practice when he nearly crashed. He finished the session ranked fourth.

The Joe Gibbs Racing driver, who rebounded from a practice crash to finish second in a backup car last week at Daytona International Speedway, will start sixth in Saturday’s Quaker State 400.
