Chris Bosh held out of Heat practices with sore knee

Chris Bosh

Miami Heat forward Chris Bosh laughs as he talks with members of the media after NBA basketball practice, Monday, Oct. 1, 2012, in Miami. In many ways, the Heat think they’re picking up in training camp where they left off in June. And that’s one of many reasons why confidence around the reigning NBA champions is high these days. Right now, teams are going to be very, very cautious with star players. Guys are going to miss training camp days for things they wouldn’t blink of playing through during the season.

With that, we bring you this note about Chris Bosh from Ira Winderman at the Sun Sentinel.

Chris Bosh was held out of practice by coach Erik Spoelstra, with Spoelstra saying Bosh had soreness in his knee.

Of sitting out Tuesday, Bosh said, “Just training camp legs, just getting really back, acclimated.”

It’s probably nothing. But it’s something to watch.
