Chris Copeland got stabbed last April, landing him in the ICU for surgery.

Copeland just signed with Bucks, so obviously at least one team believes he’ll overcome the incident.

But how is he doing now?

Copeland, via Marc J. Spears of Yahoo Sports:

“I would like to say that I am OK for anybody that was concerned,” Copeland said. “I appreciate all the love and support as always.

“Legally, it’s not something I can talk about. But it was an unfortunate situation. I’m looking forward to putting it behind me and getting back on the floor.”

Very glad to hear Copeland is fine. The news sounded scary for a while.

He worked so hard just to make the NBA, and he deserves a chance to see how his career will unfold based on the merits.
