Grizzlies’ Mario Chalmers goes down with non-contact injury, out for game

This is not good.

Memphis Grizzlies guard Mario Chalmers went down in the game against Boston with a non-contact injury. The worst kind, and this didn’t look good. He had to be helped back to the locker room, and the medical staff seemed to be looking at his Achilles’ tendon. He is out for the rest of the game.

Then there is this from Chris Mannix.

Chalmers left the arena in a wheelchair, according to reports.

Chalmers started Wednesday against Boston because Mike Conley is battling a sore foot and will miss a couple of games.

Hopefully for Memphis, this isn’t as bad as it appeared. We will learn more in the next 24-48 hours.
