It was always understood that if Kevin Durant picked the Warriors, Harrison Barnes would be on the way out. Durant did, and the Warriors renounced Barnes, who quickly agreed to a four-year, $94 million deal with the Mavericks.
Barnes posted a message to fans on his Twitter account Monday evening:

Barnes is getting paid, but it’s got to be disappointing for him to go from the Warriors to the middling Mavericks. Things might be a little awkward this summer in Rio, where Barnes is playing in the Olympics alongside Durant, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green.
