J.R. Smith broke Tristan Thompson’s ankles with stepback crossover (VIDEO)

That’s about as bad as you’re going to see a guy get burned by a crossover.

That move also pretty much sums up how this game went for the Knicks and Cavaliers.

New York’s J.R. Smith was driving to his right with Cleveland’s Tristan Thompson on him when Smith pulled out a stepback crossover — and Thompson buckled and fell to the floor. Smith then nailed the open jumper.

New York pretty much did the same thing to Cleveland, racing out to an early lead and going on to win 117-86.

And that play above was not the only impressive J.R. Smith play of the night.
