Some good news out of Denver: it seems that Kenneth Faried’s neck injury isn’t as serious as initially thought. Faried suffered the injury near the end of the Nuggets’ Saturday overtime loss to the Warriors in Oakland, and it looked pretty bad: he stayed down for over 10 minutes after the game ended and was eventually carried off on a stretcher and taken to the hospital. But he hasn’t been definitively ruled out for tonight’s game against the Blazers, and the Nuggets say his CT scan came back clean.
Nuggets forward Kenneth Faried listed as questionable tonight vs. Portland with neck soreness from a cervical injury. CT scan was normal.

Even if Faried doesn’t play in this game, the fact that the injury only resulted in some soreness and not something worse is a huge relief considering how scary the injury looked in real time.
