CLEVELAND — Before Game 4 of the NBA Finals, Cleveland Cavaliers coach Ty Lue did not have an update as to whether or not Kevin Love would play. Love suffered a concussion in Game 2 in Oakland, and sat out the Cavs’ Game 3 blowout win over the Warriors after doctors did not clear him under the league’s concussion protocol.

The mystery is over now: with about an hour to go before the game, the team announced that Love is cleared to play.

The only question remaining is whether Love will start. With Love out on Wednesday, the Cavs started Richard Jefferson. Lue said Love would play if active, but didn’t specify if he’d start or come off the bench.
