In an offseason full of turnover both on the court and in the front office, the Kings have officially announced a handful of moves at the management level. In addition to announcing the previously reported move to hire 82games.com founder Roland Beech as director of analytics, they’ve added General Manager to Vlade Divac’s title in addition to VP of Basketball Operations and named fellow Kings legend Peja Stojakovic Director of Player Personnel and Development.
From the team’s press release:
Stojakovic will also be the general manager of the Kings’ D-League affiliate, the Reno Bighorns. His return to the Kings organization has been rumored for a while; now it’s official. It seems like everything is finally settling down in Sacramento after a tumultuous summer.
