Dzanan Musa is a highly touted 17-year-old prospect who’s playing with Bosnia in Eurobasket 2017 qualifying.

He learned very publicly how far the jump is to an NBA mindset.

Late in Bosnia’s loss to Russia, Musa got into it with Lakers center Timofey Mozgov. Luckily for Musa, Mozgov walked away.

Bucks forward Mirza Teletovic, Musa’s own teammate, wasn’t so forgiving.

After Musa seemed to flop on the other end, Teletovic ripped into his younger teammate. Musa was clearly shook – being consoled on the bench, burying his face in a teammate’s shirt and then hiding under a towel.

Here’s the full sequence:

Teletovic later apologized. Teletovic, via Eurohoops.net:

I am sorry I reacted in this way. I am sorry and I don’t shrink from my responsibilities.”

“Sometimes there are tensions like that in a team. I’ve spent my life representing the national team of Bosnia. I have been playing for 13 years for the team. I never behaved like that or provoked someone. I have always represented Bosnia in the best light. I wouldn’t want to present a wrong picture of myself”, he added.
