Pacers players like Frank Vogel.

Larry Bird left Vogel twisting in the wind for a couple days then told the world Vogel begged for his job before getting axed this week. Classy. But the Pacers players had nothing but kind words for Vogel on his way out the door.

George became a superstar under Vogel’s tutelage, you can understand why he will miss having that coach around.

The next Pacers’ coach has huge shoes to fill.
