Randy Wittman confirms Bradley Beal slated to return to Wizards practice Monday
The Washington Wizards are going to be getting one of their most important players back sooner rather than later. Third-year shooting guard Bradley Beal has missed all of the 2014-15 season so far with a wrist fracture, and a report surfaced this week that he’s shooting to play against the Cleveland Cavaliers this coming Friday.
On Saturday, Wizards coach Randy Wittman confirmed that Beal is scheduled to return to practice on Monday and could play soon, depending on how his body reacts. From Jorge Castillo of the Washington Post:
The Wizards are off to a good start without Beal, currently sitting at second place in the Eastern Conference with a 7-2 record, largely due to the outstanding play of point guard John Wall. The return of Wall’s backcourt partner will be a huge win for Washington, giving them added three-point shooting.
