The Nets examined their finalists and picked a winner.
Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports:
The Brooklyn Nets have offered the job of general manager to San Antonio Spurs assistant GM Sean Marks, league sources tell @TheVertical.

It’d be surprising if Marks rejects the offer after getting this far in the process. The Nets are a mess, short on talent and draft picks. But Mark surely knew that – and likely other parameters of the job – when he interviewed.
Timing is of the essence with the trade deadline 3 p.m. Thursday. This could be finished soon.
Marks has quickly risen through the Spurs organization since retiring as a player, serving time both in the front office and on the coaching staff. He should have the perspective to succeed in this position, though there’s always risk with a first-time general manager.
And of course, there’s an added challenge in working for Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov.
