After Brandon Jennings suffered a serious leg injury on Saturday night, the Pistons are suddenly in need of another point guard. They have D.J. Augustin, but Jennings has been playing out of his mind since the team waived Josh Smith, and his absence — possibly for the season — leaves a huge hole in the backcourt.

— Marc Stein (@ESPNSteinLine) January 25, 2015Prigioni is having his best statistical season, averaging 9.4 rebounds and 4.7 assists per 36 minutes for the Knicks, the challenge is he is getting less than 19 minutes a game for them. The Pistons could probably get him for not very much, since at 37 he’s not a part of the Knicks’ long-term future, and Phil Jackson wants to cut salary wherever he can. There are certainly worse options out there for Detroit.
