Anthony Bennett is dramatically better than last season.
He still isn’t very good, though.
So, the Timberwolves – who just acquired a similar player in Adreian Payne – are reportedly look to trade Bennett.
Darren Wolfson of 1500 ESPN Twin Cities:
League people say they've brought Bennett up. Bud can be had. RT @aaronkarasov: @DarrenWolfson hearing any #Twolves trade chatter?

@CLupus63 @aaronkarasov Told the Wolves have brought up. You think teams actually want him?

In just 20 months, Bennett – who was sent from Cleveland to Minnesota in the Kevin Love-Andrew Wiggins trade – could go from No. 1 pick to journeyman.
Really, the drop isn’t as steep as it appears. Bennett never should have been the top 2013 pick in the first place. The Cavaliers’ error makes him look worse, though.
Bennett is the type of player – young, developing – the rebuilding Timberwolves should prioritize. If they’re now trying to unload him, that should should signal to teams about his value.
