From ESPN Stats & Info:

Westbrook has been otherworldly for the bulk of this season, and has largely carried the Thunder, even when Kevin Durant has been healthy enough to be a part of his team’s lineup.

In a crushing Friday night loss to the Pelicans on an incredible three-pointer from Anthony Davis at the buzzer, Westbrook finished with 48 points (on 15-of-28 shooting), to go along with nine rebounds and 11 assists.

The previous game in New Orleans against the very same team, Westbrook went for 45 points (on 18-of-31 shooting), while adding six rebounds and six assists.

I still have James Harden and Stephen Curry ranked 1 and 1A in the MVP race thus far. But if the Thunder or the Pelicans end up sneaking into the postseason, Russell Westbrook and Anthony Davis will both find their way onto the top of plenty of people’s ballots.
