Stephen Curry drains threes to up his donation to Hurricane Harvey relief
Stephen Curry had already promised $100,000 to help victims of Hurricane Harvey, which devastated Houston, southeast Texas, and parts of Louisiana.
But he wasn’t done. Curry teamed up with Active Faith Sports and would add $1,000 for each made three of the 25 he took. He drained 18 in the video above, upping his donation total to $118,000. He probably would have hit more if he had his mouthguard hanging out of his mouth.
That money is needed, and you can pitch in without having to knock down a three. You can buy a Houston Strong T-shirt with the Rockets logo, follow this link to J.J. Watt’s fundraising efforts, this one to Mayor Sylvester Turner’s relief fund, and there are other worthy organizations on the ground in Houston. Or you can donate to the American Red Cross.
