Sunday has not been a banner day for superstar health. First, Anthony Davis is out 1-2 weeks. Then, Kevin Durant is out at least a week. Now, Stephen Curry will not play against the Pacers tonight:
On its face, this injury is minor, and hopefully Curry will be back when the Warriors play the Wizards on Tuesday. But it’s worth remembering that Curry has battled significant ankle problems throughout his career. He’s been mostly healthy the last three seasons, playing 78 games each in 2012-13 and 2013-14, and appearing in all 52 games for the Warriors this season. Hopefully this is just a one-time thing and not the start of those problems again for him. That’s the last thing anyone needs right now.
