Tyronn Lue takes picture with Sixers fan wearing shirt showing Allen Iverson’s classic step-over

NBA Finals X

Tyronn Lue played 11 professional seasons for eight different teams, but his career was one that remained largely anonymous.

Except, that is, for a single moment during the 2001 NBA Finals.

The Sixers took Game 1 of that series before the Lakers won the next four to emerge as champions, and Allen Iverson sealed it with an impressive jumper, which was followed by him famously stepping over Lue, who had fallen down while attempting to defend the play.

It’s the one moment of Lue’s career that has been immortalized, but he doesn’t seem bothered by this in the slightest.

Lue is now an assistant coach with the Cavaliers, and when he was in Philadelphia earlier this week, a fan wearing a t-shirt commemorating the moment asked him to pose for a photo. And Lue, ever the good sport, was happy to oblige.
