Ryan Anderson’s shot was falling on Tuesday as he connected on 5-of-6 from deep on his way to 15 points, three boards and a block in 23 minutes.
A review of Anderson’s 3-point shooting revealed that Orlando’s solid passing had more to do with his success than any impact Dwight Howard had, and our main concern is that sticky finger guys like Eric Gordon, Austin Rivers, and Greivis Vasquez can deliver Anderson the ball as he tries to lose his man off the ball. All-in-all, even though his position is a bit of a question mark, there is no question that Ryno will play 30+ mpg and retain a significant amount of the value he had last season.
  • OKC Shooting Guard
UAB guard Robert Vaden was taken by the Bobcats with the 52nd pick in the 2009 draft, then immediately traded to the Thunder for cash.
Vaden played four years for UAB, where he established himself as a terrific three-point shooter. He’s a bit one-dimensional, however, and will need to develop his ballhandling and defense.
  • OKC Shooting Guard
UAB junior guard Robert Vaden will return to school for his senior season.
He was projected to be a second-round pick had he stayed in the draft, and will be a fifth-year senior in college this season.
  • OKC Shooting Guard
UAB SG Robert Vaden has declared for the draft.
He’s a great shooter, but won’t be taken until the second round. Don’t be surprised if he ends up back at UAB next year.
  • OKC Shooting Guard
The Thunder signed guard Robert Vaden out of the D-League on Saturday but immediately re-assigned him to the Tulsa 66ers.
Vaden was Oklahoma City’s second-round pick in 2009, and he’s averaged 10.4 points, 2.4 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 45 games with Tulsa this year. He won’t figure into OKC’s postseason, but they appreciate his work ethic and thus rewarded him with this payday.

Thunder recalled G Robert Vaden from the Tulsa 66ers of the NBADL.
Tulsa was just bounced from the NBADL playoffs on Monday. Vaden will join the Thunder for tonight’s Game 2 as a cheerleader from the bench.
