The Titans hosted free agent WR Dazz Newsome for a workout Friday.
Newsome will also visit the Patriots over the weekend. The former sixth-round pick suffered a broken collarbone last June and missed most of the remaining offseason. He was ultimately waived by the Bears but found his way back onto their active roster for three games. Newsome is a decent flier for the next team to take a shot on him, though he will likely start the year on a practice squad.

    Bears waived WR Dazz Newsome.

Bears placed Dazz Newsome (collarbone) on the PUP list.
Newsome suffered a broken collarbone on June 1st, and was expected to be ready for training camp. The wide receiver suffered a clean break, and despite starting on the PUP, he remains likely to be available for the start of the season. As a sixth round rookie however, he’ll be missing valuable reps in the meantime. Best suited for the slot, Newsome is theoretically one of the biggest beneficiaries of the Anthony Miller trade, provided he can get on the field again quickly.

The UNC product stands 5'11/190 and blazed a 4.34 forty at the Tar Heels’ Pro Day. He’ll compete for a job behind Allen Robinson, Darnell Mooney, and Damiere Byrd.

Bears selected North Carolina WR Dazz Newsome with the No. 221 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
Newsome was a two-year starter and four-year contributor, starting 32 of the 44 games he appeared in. He had 182 catches, 2,435 yards and 18 touchdowns in his UNC career, with his 182 receptions ranking third all-time in school history. Newsome is fast (4.34 forty at his Pro Day), but struggled to make contested catches in college. His biggest Year 1 impact may come on special teams.
