Hendricks, 25, was on the roster for just over a month. His roster spot was taken by Jimmy Kennedy, who’s been activated from the reserve/suspended list.

He’s taking the suspended Jimmy Kennedy’s roster spot. An undrafted free agent in 2010, Hendricks will be making his NFL debut if he’s active against the Bills on Sunday.

Hendricks was buried on an extremely rich defensive line depth chart. In a best case scenario, the Miami Hurricane will make it on the practice squad.

A final cut each of the past two seasons, Hendricks could see action if New York’s banged up defensive line suffers another injury.

It’s the second year in a row Hendricks has been a final cuts victim. Formerly undrafted out of Miami (FL), he’s probably headed back to the practice squad.
