  • Cornerback #4
Arkansas redshirt senior CB Jerry Jacobs has opted out of the remainder of this season according to HC Sam Pittman.
Jacobs (5'11/203) joined the Arkansas program as a grad transfer from Arkansas State, and the expectation was that he would be a key contributor for the Razorbacks in the secondary. But his time with the program has come to an end, with Pittman announcing the redshirt senior’s decision to opt out on Monday. With Jacobs no longer in the fold, freshman Khari Johnson appears to be next in line at the field cornerback position.

  • Cornerback #4
Former Arkansas State redshirt junior CB Jerry Jacobs transferred to Arkansas as a graduate.
Jacobs will have one year of eligibility left and will be ready to play immediately for the Razorbacks. He also should be eligible for two more years, as he was limited to just four games due to a torn ACL suffered against Georgia. An All-Sun Belt player in 2018, the 5-foot-11, 204-pound corner should compete for playing time immediately.
