The Colts got blown out of Lucas Oil Stadium during the second half of Sunday night’s game against the Patriots, a losing effort may all the more painful by the loss of running back Ahmad Bradshaw to an injury while the Patriots were on their way to the 42-20 victory.

Bradshaw left the stadium on crutches with a walking boot on his left foot, which is a bit ominous given his history of foot injuries while he was a member of the Giants. Coach Chuck Pagano said that Bradshaw’s going to have an MRI and his fellow running back Trent Richardson didn’t sound particularly optimistic about Bradshaw’s chances of an immediate injury.

“To see a brother go down, especially one I’m around all day, every day, is real tough,” Richardson said, via ESPN.com. “That’s a brother, and it’s heartbreaking to see a guy down like that. We’re going to see what they say [Monday], but at the end of the day, we have his back. Whenever he gets ready to come back, if he does this year or next year, whenever it is, there’s going to be open doors for him.”

Tight end Dwayne Allen also left the stadium in a boot after an ankle injury in the first half. He’ll have an MRI as well on Monday.
