The Bears have turned over their linebacking corps this offseason, but they brought back a familiar face.
The Bears re-signed veteran outside linebacker Sam Acho to a one-year deal, according to a tweet from his agents.
Acho started seven games for the Bears last year, after spending his first four years with the Cardinals. He’s never matched the 7.0 sacks he logged for Arizona his rookie year, with just 6.0 in the following four seasons and none last year.
They’ve improved the talent around that spot in free agency, signing Danny Trevathan and Jerrell Freeman in free agency, as John Fox tries to improve the overall talent on defense.
