The Law Firm reopened for business on Wednesday.
Bengals running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis didn’t play in Week 17 after tweaking his hamstring in warmups for Cincinnati’s game against the Ravens and he didn’t participate in practice on Tuesday, raising some fear that he wouldn’t be able to play against the Texans this Sunday. Green-Ellis was back on the field Wednesday in what will likely end up with him being listed as a limited participant in the Bengals practice.
The Bengals practiced indoors for the second straight day and Geoff Hobson of the team’s website reports that they had music blasting in order to simulate the noise at Reliant Stadium. The selection for the soundtrack was “Bulls on Parade” by Rage Against the Machine, which has been adopted as the theme song for the Texans defense.
Green-Ellis’ return to practice left just two Bengals on the sideline. Safety Chris Crocker was in uniform, but doing little other than stretching as he deals with a quad injury, and defensive end Wallace Gilberry sat out entirely for the second straight day with an unspecified injury.
