Gronk have soft side. Gronk like kittens. Gronk get crushed in locker room.

As you might imagine, his Patriots teammates had plenty of fun with the cat pictures of Rob Gronkowski featured in ESPN the Magazine.

But coach Bill Belichick apparently got in on the action during a team meeting, which you might not have expected.

Bill brought it up this morning in the team meeting,” Revis said, via Phil Perry of “We had a couple chuckles about it. That’s when I knew: Gronk took a picture with a kitten! It was pretty funny this morning. . . .
“Bill does a great job of trying to soften the mood sometimes. He did this morning, guys had a little chuckle about it, and then we moved on. But it was pretty funny.”

Revis hadn’t seen the photos previously, and they seemed to take him aback.

“It’s kind of weird,” Revis said. “But I guess Gronk has a soft side to his personality.”
Gronk had other lovable creatures on his mind, as he chose to deflect talk about the cats to say: “Gotta talk about the Dolphins today.”

But Belichick apparently had plenty more to say, and you can only imagine the direction it went.
