Tackle Jordan Mills has gone from two-year starter in Chicago to practice-squad participant in Detroit.
Now, Mills gets a chance to join another 53-man roster; per a league source, the Bills have signed Mills from the Lions’ practice squad.
Mills started 29 games in two seasons with the Bears. He was claimed on waivers by the Cowboys, who would later cut him loose. He thereafter landed in Detroit as one of the up to 10 extra players who aren’t actually on the roster.
Bills tackle Seantrel Henderson exit Sunday’s loss to the Bengals with a concussion, so Mills gives them depth in the event Henderson misses time.
