The Buccaneers have struck a deal with their first-round draft pick.

The club has agreed with rookie wide receiver Mike Evans on a four-year contract, the team said on its website Thursday.

The No. 7 overall pick, Evans (6-5, 231) hauled in 65 passes for 1,322 yards and 12 touchdowns as a redshirt sophomore at Texas A&M in 2013. He does not turn 21 until August.

Evans looks likely to receive significant playing time in his first NFL season. In April, the Buccaneers dealt receiver Mike Williams to Buffalo, opening up a spot in the starting lineup that Evans figures to fill.

According to the club, the Buccaneers have just two unsigned rookies remaining: tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins (second round) and running back Charles Sims (third round).
