As former Bucs linebacker Derrick Brooks continues to ponder his future, one option for the future Hall of Famer could be to resume his employment with the only franchise for which he has ever worked. According to the folks at JoeBucsFan.com, the Glazer family has offered Brooks a front-office gig. The specific position that Brooks would hold isn’t currently known. For now, Brooks has taken the position that he wants to exhaust his options as a player before becoming Assistant to the Traveling Secretary. And we don’t blame him. Even a deal for the one-year minimum salary for a player of his experience ($845,000) would be much more than any entry-level make-work gig that the Bucs would be able to give him.
