The Arizona Cardinals have announced several changes to their coaching staff, in the wake of a post-Super Bowl shakeup that saw both coordinators and quarterbacks coach Jeff Rutledge leave. As expected, Bill Davis has been promoted from linebackers coach to defensive coordinator, replacing Clancy Pendergast. In turn, Matt Raich has been promoted from defensive assistant to linebackers coach. On the offensive side of the ball, the coordinator position previously held by Todd Haley has been split into two jobs. Former receivers coach Mike Miller will become the passing game coordinator, and offensive line coach Russ Grimm adds the duties of running game coordinator. Also, John McNulty has been hired to serve as receivers coach, and former NFL quarterback Chris Miller will work as the quarterbacks coach. McNulty has been an assistant at Rutgers for the past five years, and Miller coached a high school team from 2002 through 2006, and has been out of football the past two seasons.
