The San Diego Chargers got off to a terrible start today in St. Louis, falling behind 17-0 in the first half.
The Rams had a 39-yard field goal on their first drive. Later in the first quarter Sam Bradford hit Danario Alexander in the end zone for a 38-yard touchdown.
And in the second quarter the Rams embarked on a 17-play, 67-yard drive that took almost eight minutes off the clock and ended in a Steven Jackson touchdown run.
The Chargers finally got on the board with a Nate Kaeding 41-yard field goal late in the second quarter, but midway through the third quarter the Rams still lead, 17-3.
UPDATE: A San Diego touchdown cut the deficit to 17-10 with 4:41 left in the third quarter.
