For a guy who admitted he had played like doo-doo the last two years, Chris Long has a lot of people ready to say “I do.”
The Falcons announced they were bringing in the former No. 2 overall pick in for a visit tonight and tomorrow.
Long has already checked in with Dallas and Washington, dragging his bait around on a pass-rusher market that is rapidly dwindling.
If you overlook the last two years of his career, Long would be a good add. He had 50.5 sacks in his first six seasons, and was a solid player against the run. But he’s only added 4.0 sacks to that total the last two years, as injuries have limited him to 18 games.
