Clemson tackle Isaiah Battle to enter NFL supplemental draft
We now have something else to talk about this summer, something that almost looks like football.
According to ESPN.com’s Andrea Adelson, Clemson tackle Isaiah Battle will enter the supplemental draft.
Battle was the Tigers’ starting left tackle last year, and played more snaps than any player on the team.
“I have some family matters to address, with a child due this summer, and I feel it is in my best interest to enter the NFL supplemental draft,” Battle said in a statement from the school.
Battle had some issues previously at Clemson, with suspensions in 2013 for punching a player and one last year for disciplinary reasons. He was also pulled over earlier this month for a traffic stop and was cited for possession of marijuana.
