The Redskins finally got to come out and play with the other kids, and they immediately chose not to.

Washington didn’t get to participate last night, as the second overall pick went to the Rams to complete the Robert Griffin III trade.

And then they traded with the Cowboys, so their division rivals could move up to No. 34 to take Boise State defensive end Demarcus Lawrence.

Lawrence had some off-field concerns (three suspensions), but he had 10.5 sacks last year, and can provide some needed pressure to replace DeMarcus Ware.

The Redskins received the Cowboys second- and third-rounders (No.s 47 and 78) for the move.
