The Cowboys have closed out the week by making a pair of deletions from their 90-man roster.

The team announced that they have waived cornerback Terrance Mitchell and waived/injured cornerback Brandon McGee.

Mitchell played three games for the Cowboys last season after opening the year with the Bears. He had 12 tackles, a forced fumble and an interception in Dallas. That interception was one of only two that the Cowboys got from their cornerbacks during the 2015 season.

McGee played one game for the Giants last year and 17 games for the Rams in 2013 and 2014 after entering the league as a fifth-round pick.

The Cowboys now have nine cornerbacks on their roster with Orlando Scandrick, Brandon Carr and Morris Claiborne at the top of the depth chart.
