If the Eagles are going to get their offense back on track against the league’s best scoring defense, they’re going to have to do it without DeMarco Murray.
Murray was among the Eagles’ inactives today, after coming up with a hamstring strain this week in practice.
Murray’s slow start (11 yards on 21 carries and no those numbers aren’t transposed) mirrored his team’s, and now they’ll be in the hands of Ryan Mathews.
While Mathews has been a quality back when well, it might be difficult for the Eagles to break out of their funk if they can’t get their ground game established today.
