Thanks to a good Samaritan with a connection to a teammate, Seahawks fullback Derrick Coleman is getting his Super Bowl ring back.

Via KIRO in Seattle, agent David Mulugheta of AthletesFirst, tweeted a photo of the ring and said he was driving around in a rental car when his wife found the ring.

He said he planned to send it to client Earl Thomas, to let the Seahawks safety get the ring back to Coleman.

Coleman later tweeted back to Mulugheta “you my hero, that’s what’s happens when you show kids the ring then hide it in your car!”

The good news is Coleman now has a prized possession back, and has learned not to hide things in rental cars.
