Free agent wide receiver DeSean Jackson may not be leaving the NFC East.

Jackson, released by Philadelphia on Friday, will visit Washington on Monday, according to Dianna Marie Russini of NBC Washington.

New Washington coach Jay Gruden would surely love to add Jackson to his offense. Pierre Garcon had a very good season last year, catching 113 passes for 1,346 yards, and putting Jackson on the field with Garcon would give Robert Griffin III a couple of big-play targets. Jackson could also provide an upgrade to Washington’s special teams as a punt returner.

Other teams that have been linked to Jackson include the Jets, Raiders and Seahawks. We’ll see on Monday if Dan Snyder is ready to write a check big enough to make Jackson’s first free agent visit his last.
