Dolphins head coach Adam Gase has reportedly found his offensive coordinator.

Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that the Dolphins will hire Clyde Christensen to fill that spot on Gase’s staff. Christensen has spent the last 14 seasons on the Colts coaching staff. He started as the wide receivers coach, moved to offensive coordinator from 2009 to 2011 and then back to quarterbacks coach for the last four years.

He worked with Andrew Luck in that last role and will likely be spending a fair amount of time with Ryan Tannehill in Miami as the Dolphins try to get him to a higher level of play. One thing Christensen won’t do is call the offensive plays, which is something Gase said he’ll do for at least the early days of his head coaching career .

The Dolphins have also hired tight ends coach Shane Day, wide receivers coach Shawn Jefferson and offensive line coach Chris Foerster to Gase’s offensive staff.
