Dolphins stop Laremy Tunsil’s slide

Not long after ESPN’s Adam Schefter offered up the hyperbolic notion that tackle Laremy Tunsil was on the La’el Collins track, Tunsil has a home.

The Dolphins have made Tunsil the 13th overall pick in the draft.

Tunsil’s slide has been fueled by the late release, via apparent hacking of his Twitter account, of a video that seemed to show Tunsil smoking marijuana with a bong and a gas mask.

In an interview with ESPN’s Suzy Kolbe, Tunsil declined to say whether he’s the person seen in the video. He reiterated that his account was hacked.

Tunis becomes the eventual replacement for Branden Albert at left tackle, and Tunsil is, from an intensity standpoint, possibly the exact opposite of the tackle the Dolphins picked in the second round two years ago, in Jonathan Martin.

Time will tell whether the No. 13 pick ends up being a lucky one for Miami. It caps what has been an unlucky night for Tunsil.
