The Eagles under Howie Roseman aren’t afraid to make big deals, and they’re also deliberate about extending smaller ones when they can.

Via Field Yates of ESPN, the Eagles have extended reserve offensive lineman Dennis Kelly’s deal through the 2017 season. It adds $880,000 to Kelly’s deal.

It’s not the kind of deal that draws much interest, but it does create some stability for a guy they want to keep around.

The former fifth-round pick from Purdue saw his most extensive action as a rookie, starting 10 games in 2012. He started two last year, and has experience at both guard and tackle.
