John Moffitt, the offensive lineman who recently unretired after two years away from the NFL, has found a new team.
Moffitt will sign with the Eagles, Ross Jones of FOX Sports reports.
The 28-year-old Moffitt entered the NFL as a third-round pick of the Seahawks in 2011 and played in Seattle for two years. He was traded to the Broncos in 2013 but abruptly quit the team in November of that year, saying he was worried about risking his health by playing football.
Moffitt has faced legal troubles and been charged with assault, public urination and possession of marijuana, cocaine and ecstasy. But he has reportedly gone to rehab and has worked to get his life back on track. Now he’ll hope to get his career back on track as well.
